Company Story

A Home for Chase

Opening Hearts and Doors in 2017

In 2017, my husband Kyle and I decided to open our home to Chase, a young man who had served in the Army with him. Facing tough times and with nowhere else to turn, Chase became part of our family. With deep reflection and prayer, we felt compelled to offer our help with no strings attached. We not only welcomed him into our home but also provided him with a spare vehicle to ease his commute to work and allow him the freedom to come and go as he needed.

About ten months into embracing Chase as part of our family, a challenging moment arose. He was involved in a serious accident while driving impaired, resulting in the total loss of our spare truck. Despite the setback, we realized our mission was to extend unconditional and unexplainable love to Chase, regardless of the circumstances. Instead of asking him to leave, we expressed gratitude for his safety and assured him that everything else would work itself out.

The Journey Out West and Unexpected Discoveries

With some leftover insurance money from the accident, Kyle and I embarked on a memorable journey with our triplets in the summer of 2019. We explored Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, and the Rockies, creating lasting memories. The trip took an unexpected turn when a planned visit with a pastor in Lander, Wyoming transformed into a heart-wrenching experience on the Wind River Indian Reservation. Witnessing the disrepair of homes, children playing in challenging conditions, and the lack of immediate emergency help stirred a deep sense of responsibility.

Choosing Love over Circumstances

I pondered how I could make a positive impact on the Wind River Indian Reservation. In early 2022, I found my answer—to use my time, talent, and treasure to raise funds for those in need. Setting an initial goal of $10,000, I organized cornhusk doll-making classes for the community. Weekends and evenings were dedicated to teaching, and the response exceeded expectations. Community and church groups, along with local businesses, joined the cause. Within six months, we surpassed our goal, raising over $22,000 to support people we may never meet in person.

Unconditional Love in Action

Throughout 2022, the overflowing support from the community fueled my passion. Regularly hosting classes and participating in events, I felt a growing sense of purpose. However, I knew there was more to be done. The need for assistance is universal, whether it’s paying a bill, getting an oil change, sharing a meal, or offering words of encouragement. We find ourselves caring for both neighbors and strangers, committed to loving people well.
